The ActPoint RoadMap subscription includes an unlimited number of users. Simply put, for each RoadMap you create, you can
distribute the RoadMaps to administrators, staff, contractors, school board members, parents and to the community as a whole
without any additional usage charges. While most RoadMaps are developed for internal use, for execution of standard operating
procedures, having the ability to create RoadMaps for external users creates added value for the district.
The ActPoint Assessment
ActPoint RoadMap assessment accurately
determines the problems or issues to
determine appropriate actions. Each
question includes requirements (policies,
procedures, statutes, regulations, etc., as
appropriate) that influence how the question
is answered. The requirements serve to
clarify the question and promote more
accurate responses. ActPoint RoadMaps use
adaptive assessment technology providing
a unique set of diagnostic questions
depending on the question path.
Create Your District RoadMaps
The process of creating your own district
RoadMaps, couldn't be easier. ActPoint is
designed for the non-technical user with
basic computer skills and knowledge of the
district's policy and operating procedures.
Each major department in a school district
has such a person.
Simply map out the decision process on a
whiteboard, computer or napkin, determine
the appropriate diagnostic questions to ask,
locate the supporting resources such as
policy, procedures, statutes, regulations and
implementation suggestions. Then, using
the DRAG and DROP ActPoint interface,
start creating your own RoadMaps. The
screen to the right is typical of the decision
mapping used in ActPoint.
The ActPoint Reports
Once the diagnostic assessment has been completed, the ActPoint
system automatically generates a custom Action Plan and RoadMap
summary report.
The Action Plan recommends specific, concise actions that are
required as a result of the diagnostic assessment. The RoadMap
summary is a detailed report including documentation on how the
assessment was answered, the recommendations, implementation
suggestions and reference documents such as policies, procedures,
statutes, or regulations . The RoadMap Summary is an excellent way
for the user to document, learn and execute the correct procedure
for each situation.
The RoadMap summary report becomes the basis for auditability.
All actions by the user are logged into the system as a means of
documenting procedural accountability...or a deviation from those
standards. Either way, the event can be retrieved for supervisory,
legal or compliance purposes.
Once you see how valuable the ActPoint RoadMaps are to the execution of your operating procedures, you will
want to extend the use to other areas and departments. There is never a charge for adding more RoadMaps to
your ActPoint collection which allows you to institutionalize ActPoint at a cost you can afford.
